Mercia FM is the latest division within the Mercia Group also known to many as Mercia Design & Build. Founder & owner Mark Bottomer has vast experience not only in high end bespoke residential property but in the commercial world.

Before Mark rose to notoriety for high end bespoke residential properties. His journey began as a reactive and planned maintenance engineer, covering a wide area of West Midlands as a Fire Protection Engineer & qualified Electrician. During this time it lead to Mark successfully completing multiple high end refurbishments in the commercial sector, starting with bespoke shop fitting for luxury designer clothes stores, to showrooms and corporate spaces.

This passion for maintenance has stayed with him, then in 2023 an opportunity arose for Mark to venture back into Facility sector. Along with his wife and business partner Eve, they acquired AMPM which has been providing Facility Management services for over 26 years.

As the company started to gain traction in a new direction, it reignited the fire and it became apparent from clients, there was still a huge demand for experienced and skilled contractors. Most importantly ones with an honest transparent approach who understand what it takes to keep your business operational, safe and compliant
